Provide coordination, design and construction services necessary to renovate Building 2110 for the Port Operations Weld Shop. The building is currently an unheated storage space. This project includes but is not limited to demolition of interior asphalt floor and construction of the following elements in this approximately 4,500 SF building: brand new building utility services, reinforced concrete floor, upgraded electrical service, fire alarm, fire reporting. Project shall deliver finished facilities and infrastructure which shall be ready for tenant use upon final inspection and acceptance.
This project consists of the design and construction of modifications to an existing on-site sewage system for Heart O’ the Hills Campground. Modifications to the system include installation of a new pressure distribution drainfield within the footprint of the existing drainfield, and replacement of the existing pump control panel to switch from demand dosing to timed dosing. This project also includes potholing and other investigative techniques to locate the trajectory of the force main where it crosses Hurricane Ridge Road near the Entrance Station

Renovations to the hospital at NAS Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, WA.
Valdez Construction provided a Water Main Replacement for the Food and Drug Administration building in Bothell, Washington at the Pacific Northwest Laboratory. The scope of work included labor, material and equipment to address removal and installation of a new water main.
This Town of Coupeville community project consisted of approximately 208 sq. ft. public restroom facility within an existing barn structure. Valdez Construction provided improvements to the existing public parking lot, which included grading, paving, curbing, storm drainage, landscaping, lighting and associated utility work.
Through the scope of work, Valdez Construction provided safety and security upgrades to the Booster Pump Station at Facility 892. The components of the project included retrofitting the existing seven-foot high security fence by installing diagonal truss rods and tubular horizontal bracing, and repairing the three-strand barbed wire outriggers on top, where required. Project required installing “Restricted Area” signage on the security fencing. In addition, a plumbed, emergency eyewash/shower was installed near Building 892 and an air eliminator tank was properly grounded.
This project will remove the Low Altitude Decompression Chamber, or more commonly known as Low Pressure Chamber (LPC) from building 2758 and prepare the facility to support the new Norma-baric Hypoxia Trainer (NHT). This project will include removal of Existing Hypobarid Equipment and all work that is for the disposal of existing equipment, such as removal of walls, trainer, equipment, labor, material for cleanup and repair of walls and floors.
Repair 75 concrete panels approximately 12.5′ by 15′.
Airfield paving repairs for FY17, NAS Whidbey Island.
To repair and renovate aging lunch room and kitchenette facilities to create a positive work environment. This project will utilize a highly collaborative design build delivery. The main objectives are; improve energy and water efficiency, reduce spread of germs, meet ABA accessibility codes and improve the ability to operate and maintain the facilities.
Rehabilitation of the chilled water system in B976.
This project is in support of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Seattle Field Office personnel move to the Peace Arch and Pacific Highway Land Port of Entry (LPOE). The work consists of carpet, paint, cove, data electrical, minor demo and minor plumbing.
Work includes demolition of existing walls and floor, installations of new walk-in fridge/freezer. Electrical work. Installation of new range and associated hood. Installation of new counters, dishwasher and related equipment and related plumbing work. Installation of new flooring.
Work to be performed includes asphalt cutting, subgrade preparation, asphalt installation, and striping.

This is a design-bid-build construction contract to renovate multiple office spaces in buildings 100, 103, and 2739 to relocate occupants of B243 that will be demolished under P-240.
Modifications to the Hoh Rain Forest Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System to meet Washington State Department of Health large on-site sewage system permit requirements. The work includes removal of vegetation to expand the drain field footprint and excavation of the expanded drain field as needed to install new treatment-disposal system; construction of new sand-lined beds and installation of pressurized subsurface drip emitter system; back-fill and surface restoration; and removal of existing septic tank aeration equipment and installation of new aeration pump/blowers.
The project is a construction action to replace XLP 15KV medium voltage cables originally installed in between 1970 and early 1990’s at several locations at NAS Whidbey Island.

Remove utility infrastructure and controls that are structurally degraded, inoperable, and unwarranted, install new pump seals on three of the four existing pumps, paint the interior and exterior walls, ceilings, railings, supports, piping, conduits, fittings, and valves, and install polyaspartic flooring in each room of the building, replace approximately 75 linear feet of 10 inch water mains and valves, and reconfigure plumbing to eliminate cross connection(s) between storm water and grey water and design and install a new drain field for the building.
Replace worn out and damaged flooring in Building 382 Nimitz Galley.

After investigation, the internal plumbing at the Hospital, building 993 needed installation of a new reduced pressure back-flow assembly.
Installed 700 lineal feet of drain lines, including catch basins and outfall.
Conducted closure, removal and site assessment of three (3), underground storage tanks (UST). Two (2), located at NAS Whidbey Island Flying Club and one (1), at Bremerton National Airport.

Resurfaced taxi way Juliet at NAS Whidbey for parking aircraft. This consisted of installing 114 air craft tie downs, 2300 SY of asphalt grinding, 9555 SY of 3″ asphalt overlay and striping.
Energy upgrade project which included over 500 lighting fixtures and 3 heat pump replacements at multiple locations.
Removed Operating Room Scrub Sinks, installed new sinks with infrared modules, repaired drywall, installed new piping and valves, connected to existing drains, patched and paint.

Designed and installed a low maintenance and effective septic system that included two (2) 1,500 gallon septic tanks and one (1) 1,750 pump tank to provide for 30 years of service. Verified proper function of the drainfield and any steps recommended for recovery if necessary.
Designed and constructed a 9,000-gallon above ground fiberglass storage tank for Cryotech E36 airfield pavement de-icer.
Replaced 18 inch storm drain out fall including, adding 8 foot to existing pipe. Added 250 yards of rip-rap rock for slope stabilization and water defusing.
Beach restoration, including adding 12,000 yards of sand habitat mix along 2,300 ft. of shoreline.
